Coily hair gets the worst service in mainstream salons. Cut wet at false length, shaped without seeing the coil pattern, sent home with a routine built for someone else's hair. Yazmin trained on this texture the same way she trained on every other one. The studio is set up for it.

Three C is a corkscrew pattern, dense and springy. Four A is a tight S-curve with definition. Four B has a Z-pattern, less defined visually but with major shape. Four C is the tightest, packed into the scalp and often misread as flat by stylists who don't work with it.
Most coily heads have multiple patterns across the scalp. Yazmin maps each section and cuts each in its own pattern. No one cut technique covers a whole head of coily hair.

The biggest concern for coily clients: that a cut will erase length. Dry cutting answers that. Yazmin shapes the coil at its real visible length, not the stretched length straight cutting reveals. So clients keep the length they came in with and gain shape.
